About Us
I have over 40 years general experience in the world of modelling and model engineering, inclusive of all forms of RC model boat/car/helicopters, as well as all scales of model railways from 'Z' Gauge, all the way through to 5inch. (Having built/designed 5inch locomotives and RC boats commercially.)
Over this time, I have exhibited at many shows throughout the years with my Japanese 'N' Gauge railway and handmade, 'BR Class 14' and 'BR Class 42' 5inch locomotives. I was very pleased to have won 2010's MOTY Butterley Award, with my self designed, handbuilt, brass 0-4-0 Freelance Industrial Locomotive. I have also restored a classic car to show winning standard.
My full time occupation is that of professional model maker, but I am also a time served cabinet maker and have spent many years working in the die-cast model car industry as a pattern maker. I am enjoying embracing the world of 16mm garden railways, having moved on from garden based 'O' Gauge. I'm an active member of the 16mm society and enjoy visiting other members' garden layouts.
My aim is to produce and deliver high quality products for the 16mm garden railway enthusiast such as myself. I welcome any suggestions, desires or wants from fellow 16mm modellers. I also endeavour to attend as many garden railway shows as I can and will be present at the 16mm AGM's, should anyone wish to approach me and discuss their needs.
Thank you.
Rob
