It has come to our attention that some customers have been unsure on the best way to remove the flash from the underside of the table casting. By far the easyiest way is to cut it off with a 'Burr' on a Dremel type tool . For your reference, a picture of this type of tool has been added above.
 
 
We would like to highlight that this turntable can also be used with at least the following scales :-
 
O Gauge, LGB, 16mm and Gauge 1.
 
Please also note that in 16mm, only a very small number of loco's will not fit, most will.
 
Measure the distance between first and last axle, NOT over buffer beams!!
 
 
Railway infrastructure has a look all of its own, but some railway objects transcend beyond the norm, like a beautiful traditional country station or signal box. A turntable is one of those iconic railway features that needs no explaining and is a fascinating point of interest to all.
We believe our SWIFT SIXTEEN turntable is a 16mm first. Although compact in size it carries an amazing level of detail, like full rustic bricks, stone slab edging, table rail with chairs, rivets etc. 
This turntable is built to last. It is a thick one piece pit casting with thickly cast one piece table. The table is supported in each corner via Binnie nylon wheels running in stainless steel axles with brass bushes. The central pivot has a huge 25mm bore. The resin is fully weather proof and would give many years of service if used outside.
Although made with 16mm at the heart of its design, other scales will also work with this table, like:-
O Gauge,
Gauge 1,
45mm LGB.
Please remember to check your locomotives will fit on this table. Measure the distance between the front and rear axle centres, NOT the length over buffers!  Huge engines like the Roundhouse Leek & Manifold and Accucraft NGG16 will not fit, but the Roundhouse Alco will, just!
